Health Aging and the Anti-Inflammatory Diet, with Maureen Williams, ND
Thursdays, October 19th and 26th 2017, 7 – 9 pm, University of Victoria
Inflammation is now recognized as a common contributor to a range of chronic health problems, from heart disease and asthma to arthritis and colitis. Inflammation even plays a role in depression.
In this class we will explore how and why inflammation occurs in the body, the relationships between inflammation, health, and aging, and how diet (and a few supplements) can be used to reduce the degree of inflammation we experience and improve our health.
